What I am going to do is to select sentences from each source and translate the in Dutch and in French written texts into English.  While translating texts, I will follow the same sequence as noted above. My focus is on the social.

1. P.32. An important factor for the origine of sociology is named restaurationmentality. (From: J.M.M. de Valk, Een linkse ( a labour) sociology?, in De linkse sociologie? Referaten en coreferaten van J.M.M. de Valk e.a., Utrecht, 1968, p.11), which came into operation in Europe, after the French Revolution. Meaning, to aim to restore the old political and social relations. Sociology was seen as an antidota against the so called poisoned social desintegration after the revolution (from: L. Bramson, The political context of sociology, Princeton paperback, 1970, p.12). And so a conservative tradition was introduced into sociology (De Jager, 1975, pp.84 e.v.): countering the desintegration of old social relations after the growth of industrialisation and growth of secularisme. Also countering the strongly felt individualism trend, most sociologists in that period of time emphasised the necessity of stability
and order for social life. They strongly focused on the conditions for stability and order and they found and formulated the opinions incorporaties by the group or by the social system (R.A. Nisbet, The sociological tradition, London, 1967, chapter 3). Social desintegration and social incertainty were seen as disliked irregularities of the normal condition. This restaurative/ refurbisment like sociology pushed the social totality, the collective in front and the individual in the back. Today, this is still the mainstream sociological thinking, to give a central position to the groups. According to Gouldner (Gouldner, 1975, p.295) scientist in the field of sociology tend to respect and adapt to the main contemporary powers. On top of that, the sociologists have the desire to serve the power of the national state.

Grondbeginselen der sociologie. Gezichtspunten en begrippen, dr.H. de Jager, dr.A.L. Mok, 1978, zevende druk. In de boekenkast van het huis waar ik het meeste verblijf vanaf 2003.( hetzelfde jaar toen het boek De puinhopen van paars, uitkwam, je weet, kleur kont nooit alleen, Antje Krog, the poet).
Deel 1. Sociologie als wetenschap. Hoofdstuk 3. Achtergronden bij ontstaan en groei van de sociologie.
Sociologie als crisiswetenschap ( dit is een metafoor, niet feitelijk, dus, voor een juist begrip, zoals u zult aanvoelen, opdat u zult weten, MAS)
Tot hier toe hebben we (Jager en Mok, MAS) het bestaan van de sociologie als wetenschap (weer die metafoor, of anders de vergelijking, echter niet feitelijk, MAS) stilzwijgend als 'gegeven' ( als waar aan-, MAS) genomen. Maar er heeft niet altijd sociologie bestaan. Een vraag is, hoe er een wetenschap is ontstaan ter bestudering van de samenleving. Een andere vraag is Wat speelt zich in deze samenleving af? Het antwoord op deze vragen hebben we gezocht in het begin van de negentiende eeuw.( join the team, het feest van het begin,  ik en Joke van Leeuwen, de denkers, MAS). Als reactie ( actie-reactie, een ding in de natuurkunde, MAS) op de grote  ( he , grote! Dus niet alleen de British vertellen de grote Great verhalen, MAS) maatschappelijke veranderingen ( welke? Meer mensen, toevallig? MAS), die mensen grotendeels onbedoeld en niet voorzien teweeg hadden gebracht ( wat doelloos, wel met veel zin, denk ik, mensen , een zeer succesvolle soort, vlgs de biologen, nl., zorgen goed voor het voortbestaan van de soort, extreem goed, zou ik zeggen, MAS), ontstond de behoefte aan beheersing van ( lees: heersing over) van het sociale leven. ( O, dus het sociale leven bestond al, er kwamen steeds meer mensen, eerst kleine mensjes, babies, die wellicht niet in grote getale stierven, door leefden dus, genoeg te eten kregen dus, MAS).
Door deze veranderingen (veranderingen? Er kwamen gewoon wat meer mensen. Just survival of
the fittest, de best en snelst aangepaste mensen, in Frankrijk dus, 1800-1810, in de tijden van Josephine en Napoleon Bon a part e,  wellicht te vertalen al Napoleon met de goede 'onder'delen?MAS) werd het leven 'problematisch' ( voor wie dan precies?MAS), dat wil zeggen, het verloor de vanzelfsprekendheid ( loss of the natural course of life? MAS) en oude verklaringen ( oude? Welke dan? MAS) voor sociale verschijnselen werden als ontoereikend ervaren. ( zo, hier wordt nogal wat beweerd, en dat alles gebaseerd op een metafoor, iets taalachtigs om de verbeelding aan het werk zetten en het inzetten van een vergelijking, ook op taalgebied een ding, worden twee taaldingen hier nu ingezet als argumenten? Om jou en mij te overtuigen? Van wat precies dan? Dat we niet kunnen leven? Volgens wie dan? Het wordt nog erger. Al deze zinnen worden geproduceerd door Jager en Mok en dan denk je waar baseren ze zich op? Welke data? En dan is er maar een literatuurverwijzing, dus niet een data verwijzing, naar een verslag van een onderzoek van Jager himself, krijg nou wat!MAS)

En nu wordt het leuk, let op, Jager en Mok schrijven vervolgens of hebben het uit laten typen door
iemand anders, Wilterdink wellicht, daar zie ik ze wel vooraan, ik heb het voorwoord gelezen, luie honden, o sorry, ik liet me even gaan, beetje zelfreflectie mag wel on the road, don't you think? I quote Jager en Mok: Men spreekt in dat geval van een crisis.
Men? Mannen? O, wat een vragen! Mijnske, hou nu toch een op? Zo is het genoeg! Szymborska, luister naar haar. Maar, ik ben toch niet geschikt voor sousmission, dus, gehoorzamen? Nee, dat komt niet in mijn vocabulaire voor. I live my own life! I do it my way. Thank you , Fred!

Is dit een typisch geval van self prophesy or what?
De definitie van self prophesy staat achter in ditzelfde boek, p.382, o nee het is self fulfilling prophesy ( Merton). De definitie van self fulfilling prophesy ( Merton) is genoteerd: een aanvankelijk onjuiste definitie van de situatie die mensen ertoe brengt zich daarnaar te gedragen, zodat de onjuiste definitie van de situatie tenslotte juist wordt.

Ja, lees het nog maar een paar keer, heb ik ook gedaan.

En dan......het begin toch allemaal met een woord,  sociology en een programma voor morele
scholing en politieke actie. Zogenaamd geïnitieerd door 1 man, de heer Auguste Comte, woonachtig in Frankrijk. Zou Auguste nou echt nooit zijn uitgenodigd door Josephine of door Diane le Beausaq, de vrouwen die de salons van die tijd organiseerden, waar de ideeen geopperd werden en besproken en waar de juiste mannen werden uitgenodigd, vaak na raadpleging van een paus, uit Rome, denk ik. De vraag blijft nog steeds, wie kan je om een boodschap sturen, wie is fit for the job. Auguste, vraag ik me af, wie vond je het leukste, toen je daar eindelijk werd uitgenodigd. Of was het toch je moeder, die zoveel invloed had, met haar intelligente vriendinnen, die lekker roken en die jou bewonderden om je jeugdige uitstraling, je atletische voorkomen, je welbespraaktheid maar niet te. Wat hebben ze je in je oor gefluisterd? Wat hebben ze je beloofd? Of geloofde jezelf in 'de zaak', omdat je de aanblik van al die sloebers buiten niet kon verdragen, met je tere hart, stel je eens voor, die mensen met hun
vieze nagels, handen, zo onhygiënisch, je zou een ziekte op kunnen lopen. Nee, dat moest natuurlijk zo snel mogelijk 'opgeruimd', 'verstopt' ,'afgehandeld' of 'georganiseerd' worden, wel netjes, natuurlijk, en niemand mocht het natuurlijk merken, stel je voor, en je wilde natuurlijk zelf ook een rol spelen, die van redder, zodat je met de eer kon gaan strijken, gelauwerd worden. Misschien wel gekust worden, zoals dat nu nog steeds gebeurd in Frankrijk. Zowel bij de Tour de France, publiekelijk, of in een appartement van een avontuurlijke doch naive journaliste, achter de schermen.

Even denken, tussen 1800-1810 waren er 'opeens' ook heel veel mensen in gebieden die we nu Oostenrijk en Switserland noemen. Migratie? Moving up North and West? Heb ik nu een mobiliteits pattern te pakken? Is er bekend, zijn er notities van het aantal drenkelingen in de Mare, de Middelandse zee, in de periode 1800-1810? Werden er toen al volkstellingen gehouden, toeristentellingen? Of werd er niets gedaan, zoals nu nog op Cos ( vroeger Kos, waar in een museum dat mooie tableau met de negen mousai hangt of staat, in een of andere kelder nu wellicht, mag niet
gejat worden natuurlijk), wie gingen er toen precies naar hun Otia, hun buitenverblijven aan de Adriatische zee om na te denken over Urbis, over de stad, the city of Rome, omdat het te warm was in de stad zelf, in de maand Augustus. Toch niet toevallig de politici? De mensen met geld die zich een uitje kunnen veroorloven?

En waarom is dit boek van Jager en Mok alleen vertaald naar het Italiaans en het Duits? Niet naar het Frans en/ of Engels? Hoe liepen de wetenschapslijnen, toen, in 1978 en eerder, 1974, 1970 wellicht, tijden van oliecrisis. Wie herinnert zich de heerlijke autoloze zondagen nog? Een fantastische regeling voor kinderen, eindelijk tennissen op de snelweg, niet meer naar die suffe tennisclub met dat korrelige gravel waar je helemaal stoffig van werd. En eindeloos voor een marathon kunnen trainen, asfalt loopt zo goed! Vooral op Adidas gympen, toen een innovatie op schoen gebied ( ja echt, jonge lezers, ik zit hier echt niet een potje te liegen). Wat er niet allemaal gebeurt en gewonnen en verdiend en uitgegeven is in de sportindustrie...

Voor sociologen als Jager en Mok een crisis, voor industriëlen en bestuurders van het merk Adidas een uitdaging en winstoogmerk, voor politici een mogelijkheid voor het inzetten van een boycot middel zoals 'brandstof', of, zoals ook sinds die tijd erg gebruikelijk, 'niet deelnemen aan de Spelen', om even de spierballen te tonen, for the guts and glory. Hoe zit dat ook alweer met sociale uitsluiting? Jager en Mok geven daar nu net weer niet de definitie van. Zou er dan toch wat veranderd zijn, anno nu, in Nederland tenminste? Geven Wilterdink en van Heerikhuizen een definiëren van sociale uitsluiting, anno 2007? En wat deden historici in die tijd, the sixties van de twintigste eeuw? Lekker pijp roken, of begonnen ze toen al aan de Havana's, the best of the best of cigars? En de vrouwen natuurlijk aan de cigarillo's, dat staat elegant. Stoer en elegant. Of hadden ze ook al toegang tot LSD, weeds enzo. Hoe komt het eigenlijk dat laatst, de knapste historicus ( leuke kop met interessant brilletje, bedoel ik, wat onder zijn schedeldak zit heb ik geen verstand) van Nederland, tijdens een interview met een journalist van het NRC liet noteren, dat alle geschiedenis van de 20 ste eeuw aan grondig en groot onderhoud toe is. Auke, jongen toch, je bent nu zeventig, toch, of nog maar net 65, moeilijk in te schatten, en wie moeten dat dan gaan doen? Jijzelf? Je ziet er inderdaad weer stralend, energiek en tijgerachtig uit, alsof je zo gaat bijten. ( er stond ook een portretfoto van A, in de krant, bij de tekst) en wie heb je op het oog? Toch niet al die eerstejaars meisjes die nu in grote getale de steden innemen, met hun intelligentie, hun helderheid, hun frisse aanblik en energie. I know you, are you fed up, after making all these men, not paying you the credits? Is it time for something new to make? Does it really feel so great? So powerful? And do you still need that? It looks much like Africa, were the powerful men keep sitting on their throne. Je bent toch niet toevallig ook net jarig geweest, een Augustus type of geboren in het jaar 1950? Volgens de Chinezen heb je dan bepaalde karaktereigenschappen...

27 Juli 2015. Twee kunstenaarsvrienden kwamen op het verjaarsfeest van zoon L. Ik kreeg ook een cadeau. Twee tekeningen op prachtig geschept papier, echte collector's items, onlangs aangeschaft in het Rembrandshuis te Amsterdam. Een van die tekeningen heet: o nee, er staat geen naam, titel of iets op. Op de ene tekening zie ik wel iets met 'bootjevaren', een jaartal, 1643, het doet me denken aan een song van The Doors, waarin Jim Morisson zingt 'danger at the edge of town, seven miles, only the little girl understands.....

O nee, hier ben ik nog niet klaar voor. Een social pattern ontdekt?  Het heeft in ieder geval niets meer te maken met de film The Good, the Bad en the Ugly op zijn Amerikaans, of toch wel, waar de ouders een boete krijgen van de politie als ze hun kroost alleen over straat laten lopen, tenminste in the city of Washington. Dat is niets voor niets.....De originele titel van de film, directed by Sergio Leone, an Italian, in het Italiaans, spreekt , zou zo maar, bedoel ik wat genuanceerder nu, boekdelen kunnen spreken..., blogdelen wat mij betreft.

I know what I am. Grote geesten dwingen de vrijheid af om te denken waaraan ze willen. Nothing can stop me now.

I definitely have to do some more research and to get control of my heartbeat. To be continued...... if I survive another day. I feel so alive, you only can imagine. It is a goldmine.

The most remarkable note, according to me bien sur, is: In academische kring werd de term crisessociology in 1884 door Toynbee geïntroduceerd met zijn beroemde lezingen: A. Toynbee, Lectures in the Industrial Revolution of the eighteenth century in England, London, 1884. This note refers to chapter three. Achtergronden bij ontstaan en groei van de sociologie.( Backgrounds of origine and growth of the science sociology). Mmm. And this book is also made with the help of N. Wilterdink, nowadays a prominent researcher in the sociology, professor in the city of Nijmegen. Actually, the first academic book I read about sociology was edited by N. Wilterdink and B. van Heerikhuizen. I read this book Societies, Introduction to sociology, back in 2013.
Is the French language a problem here, or, shortage of time, no
time to read each others books? Do sociology scientist exclude French collegues, like they do with Russian collegues? The funny title of the first paragraph of chapter three is named: Sociology as crisisscience. Who knew that, back in 2007, 2008, or now? Interesting chapter though. It is only five pages.

Well, I want to focus on groups, because of this groupthinking lead, peergroup thinking, as it seems to exist now in science and or society.

There are three definitions given on group:
1. In sociology a more narrow term than in common language use: a unity persons, who, quite frequently and on regular basis interact. This unity has agreed on a common set of values and normative behavior, according to group affairs.
2. (Cooley, primary group):
Specifically the first groups of life, with whom a person get acquainted. More common a small group with members who know each other well, often meet and maintain feeling containing relationships.
3.( secundaire, persuing the definition made by Cooly on primary group): Large, formal group, relationships between the members are more business like, more pragmatic.

Other interesting definitions:

Mores. Normative behavior according to a society or group
Normative. Opinions about how to behave, founded on specific values.
Norms. Collective, more or less binding expectations, concerning how to act and how not to act in specific conditions.
Social. Every human interaction.
Personal identity. The answer someone gives to oneself whilecquestioning: who am I? The self consciousness of a person, thereby discriminating oneself from the others.
Deviant behavior. Individual behavior, not following the common norms.
There is no definition given about diversity in this book.

Coming back to the mention of the whole.
After one year inventory on the subjects green, architecture and green architecture, six abstract fields could be mentioned, knowing: the linguistic, the organisational, the technical, the spatial, the economical, the political. I added the visual to this row of six. For doing a PhD this was more than enough. To counter this, then there must also be the acoustical,  the chaotical, the genetical, the material and the personal. I really don't know how to counter the economical, probably this is the most neutral? In total there are 12 perspectives on the subjects. What to do now? What about the social? Later......

For a good story, some of the abstract notions are good to be in the front, meaning the others are going to be in the back.
I have chosen the spatial and the material to be in the front, in other words: space and matter, framing planet Earth.

What is happening, now, in the world, in Europe, on planet Earth?

Is there going to be a war again, in Europe, or not? Or just for a while? And what sort of war am I touching in the light about? A war between nations? A territorial war? A gas war? An energy war? A water war? A  food war? A war between the oldest patriarchs (Poetin and Hollande)? Or is it about something completely different. Is it all about the fear to become sick? Remember the ebola virus, just some months ago? Remember the painting by Johannes Vermeer, named The Burgher of Delft, 16.., with a little ghost like girl painted in the front? Or is it even worse. Is it about losing a loved one, or the threat of losing the one one loves the most to become ill, deathly ill? Is that ones deepest fear? Your deepest fear? Or do you not 'have' any daughters, physically, spiritually, mentally? Relieved that thee 'daughter' has found another man or woman to share her life with, who can take care of her now, give her protection, because she became too terrifying, according to you, she became a grown up, according to herself or society.

Is then, the question Who has or has not a daughter in Europe? Or, better, thinks, one has a daughter, thinks one has the opportunity, almost everyday, to look upon, to 'read' a mobile being which caresses the eye and mind the most, the best. Which gives one the best feeling, to be alive.

The next five blogs, I will try to show you some texts, published in 1993, in Dutch. I shall translate it in English. And I am going to type it in such a way that you can create your own conclusions, or even better, that you will come to some insights yourself. And start questioning yourself What am I going to do now? With this information? What have I been thinking? What is in my power, how can I enlarge my power?

Well. I know for myself, I am not going to Paris nor Moskou. I am going to dig the deepest hole I have ever done. Really? Really! In a place with a beautiful name. For the ones I love, without doubt.
And since I love the world, all people on planet Earth, this time the hole is going to be huge or far. And maybe I can become so succesful by doing it, that halfway or for the worst in the end there will be light in the tunnel. Name it universe, also possible. I have my pale fire with me.

Survival of the fittest, you remember, Darwin, meaning, survival of the ones who adapt themselves as quickly as possible. No more theories. No more evolution theory. No more British concepts. From my perspective, the most intelligent personalities, trackies as I like to call them, IT or  single mobile unit SMU is all right too, today, for me. The ones who are not stuck in a group. Where does this group thinking come from, any way? According to social biologists today, belonging, behaving in a group gives the idea of being safe. Or more explicitly heard by the nanny of my seven year old son, a plant ecologist ( is a specialized biologist with a master degree from a university) with an extreme political correct social developed feeling: People feel safe in a group, like animals in nature. She recently celebrated het forty- eight birthday, an August type one can name her.

Well, voila, some texts. Before I get off track.

1839. August , not the clown, but August Comte, Auguste Comte like the French like it, Lord Augustus, Herr Graf August, came up with a name for a newly to create field of science. Very innovative, one would say today. Bravo! Just what we need! ( we?). The word 'sociology' slipped out of his mouth. This was obviously not enough. Probably nobody heard him, nor believed him, perhaps he had chosen the wrong audience, maybe his French was too froggy? All probabilities.
So, August, (what a coincidence it is August now, the month I mean), pleaded, talked over and over
again to whom he thought was willing to hear, the ones with an eager ear, the ones without words or ideas, the ones in la France. He even was convinced ( really, a scientist then) that the state of France, the Republic, should focus on changing the natural order of society. Change! A very popular word, nowadays... We can change! A very American thing to do, you might think. Who were the ones who
believed Barack Obama when these same three words escaped his presidential mouth? On top of
introducing the words sociology and change into one of the most melodious languages in Europe, August formulated a programm for moral scholing, education and political action. What a very educational thing to do. And Pink Floyd did not even exist then, singing We don' need no education and Another brick in the wall. How could August possibly have heard of Frank Zappa and his song Don't follow the yellow snow. Even Madonna was not born then, singing much later I am a material girl. Wonder which troubadour sang at the door or in the ear of monsieur Comte. Was he married, to a person who believed in him? Like Andre Hazes, a famous Dutch singer, also dead now.

glass buildings. I heard a terrible association with the material concrete this summer, out of the mouth of a young, fresh coming up historian, she just has to do the last bit of her master thesis. I could give her some advice, I told her about MUS. She told me that women associate the material concrete with an empty womb. What? I didn't believe her in the first instance. Too awful. Such a thing never crossed my mind. I love the materials of concrete, glass, steel. She was quite sure. So, after given her my feelings that I thought this was really awful, because that could mean....... I had no words. Before I went to Delft University to study Architecture, I thought having babies was a normal thing to do. When I graduated I was really convinced that I didn't want any of them. Pen of 'killing' her father, in Dutch it is called Vadermoord. fatherkillings, mortdupere, vatermort. Well, before I get too personal, let's go to 1834.

Who was in power, again, in that period of time? In France, in Great Britain, in Central Europe? In
the East? Eurasia?
What were the capitals of  these territories again?
Had anyone heard of New York, Washington, Beijing, Tokyo, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Rio de Janeiro, L.A., Kabul, MexicoCity etcetera, yet? Someone? O yeah, some Dutch. The cocky chickens in the front row. The flyers. The sail and sales men and women. The pioneers, the adventurers, the burgers, the citizens, the farmers, the believers. And now and then a painter, a writer, a poet, a philosopher, actresses, directors, teachers, botanists, musicians, sculptors, a thinker, crafstmen and women, fishing people. What was not done in the Netherlands, by that time? The battle of Waterloo was over.

Which plants grew in Paris, Amsterdam, Groningen, Berlin, London, Rome, Athens, Moskou? Which animals were kept or walking freely overthere? How did these cities smell? Where the cities full of smog? Of waste? Was it cold? Was it hot? What did they do with all the dead corpses? Were they good places for babies to be born? For children to grow up? Did all men and women respect each other equally? Did everybody had enough personal space? Acces to books and other written or painted, drawn, filmed information? I know, so many questions. To be continued.

New methods?!

The process of turning reactions into attitudes is complex.
Reactions are transformed into whathappened by texts.
Reactions cannot become methods itself.
When communicating or resisting, the target can reach, and there is still a counter reaction and a counter counter reaction.
This process is iirational, impossible to anticipate. Disordered.
It might provide some new methods.

Effective communication is universal.
The desire for freedom and respect for life are common sense.
Difficult for anyone to ignore.
Changes in cognition can bring out changes in reactions

Whathappened planet earth

I know what I am doing and now, finally after two years I think I can communicate it with you. What took me so long? Well, I needed pictures, I guess. Pictures, according to me, the most intelligent thing people can make. There is so much information in one picture only. I found two, perfect suitable for my whathappened earth blogstory. These pictures are my ' intelligent framework'

1. It is a fact that one can draw one line and 1395 circles, with one cut only ( based on the Hamilton circuit, somebody in the mathematics 'world')
2. There is a photograph now showing the moon in front and the earth in the back ( a point strongly magnified can be looked upon as a circle, NRC yesterday, I have to find a link yet, but you can Google, I suppose, on, NRC.nl/maan
On this photo Earth has three colours: white, blue, sand ( almost grey, but not just)

I was waiting for these pictures. Now I can make a plan how to think, order and touch this screen and to communicate Mijnskes Whathappened Universe with the subjects space and matter.

History Geschiedenis Whathappened

The word history is quite British, his tory, zijn Tory
The word geschiedenis is quite Dutch, dat wat geschied is

Now I am a Dutch citizen , wanting to communicate with people, also people who do not understand Dutch, at least the Dutch written language.
The core business of doing 'history ' in the Netherlands nowadays is to do inventory and to write factual.

So I thought, winwin, why not name it Whathappened?
By now, I introduce this word into my txts:  whathappened
Probably people are going to shorten it, and make it sound nice, like they did with so many words. Let's try Whatshapp. Or is this too American of me?

Argument: ' het schip dekt de lading', a Dutch saying. Does it? Dekt het schip nu de lading?

Is this good enough? Can I not do better? Is it perfect, complete?
No, not really, because this word gives the suggestion of neutrality, objectivity. And, what I learned from doing history/geschiedenis is that hardly anything people do is objective.
So, according to me, we, on the Eurasia continent are living in happy times. If I mix this with Whatshapp , the result can be Whatshappy

Yeah, let's call it Whatshappy

Countering it, it becomes Whatssad ( what do you say? Yes, what is said, schortened and sounded)

Both are options for me. Then I have something to choose, everytime and I like that. If I want to write a comic story I can use the Whatshappy, if I am going to write a tragedy I can use Whatssad. And maybe, just maybe I come up with other words as well, some other time.

 IT could be possible it is becoming a friend of whatsapp, as well, you never know. That is not up to me, alone.

History. Three txts

I have been reading and thinking. Now I am finaly touching.

Today I copy three txts. I wonder what will happen in your head= body. Ik noem de bronnen niet, althans niet vandaag. Wellicht morgen, als ik niet te veel leuk bezoek krijg.

1. Vorige week waren tien parlementariërs uit Frankrijk twee dagen te gast op de Krim. Zeven van dertien waren partijgenoten van ex-president Sarkozy. Delegatieleider Thierry Mariani, ooit minister onder Sarkozy, wil in de herfst terugkomen met een grotere groep Franse politici. Moskou presenteert dit als een eerste stap op weg naar feitelijke (factual) erkenning.
Het parlement van de Krim pleitte gisteren officieel voor ruimere bevoegdheden op het gebied van grondpolitiek, stedenbouw en kadastrale registratie.
Bijna twee weken geleden hief president Poetin het speciale ministerie voor de Krim per oekaze op. De taken van dit Minkrim zijn overgeheveld naar het ministerie van Economische Zaken. Vicepremier Dmitri Kozak is intussen bezig met een nieuwe kaderpokitiek. Hoge ambtenaren worden naar de Krim gestuurd om het gebied drie jaar lang als regeringscommissarissen te besturen. Er is een annexatiegolf van bezit op gang gekomen. Oekraïens bezit wordt geconfisqueerd of herverdeeld. Dat leidt tot conflicten (!) over grond en andere eigendomskwesties.
Dit najaar worden er vier keer zoveel jongens opgeroepen voor militaire dienst dan afgelopen lente.

2. In het weekeinde landden de aasgieren op de balkons van het presidentiële huis, pikten met hun snavels de horren voor de ramen kapot en brachten met hun vleugels de tijd die binnen stil was blijven staan in beroering, en maandagochtend vroeg ontwaakte de stad uit haar al eeuwen durende lethargie met een lauwwarm, licht briesje dat duidde op grootse dode en verrotte grandeur.
Op de volgende binnenplaats, achter een ijzeren hek, stonden de rozenstruiken die bedekt waren met een laag maanstof waar in de grote tijden van het huis de leprozen in de schaduw lagen te slapen, en ze hadden zich zo voortgeplant tijdens de verwaarlozing dat er nauwelijks een hoekje zonder geur was in de atmosfeer van rozen vermengd met de peststank die van achter uit de tuin in onze neus kwam en de lucht uit het kippenhok en de stank van koeienvlaaien en gistende pis van koeien en
soldaten uit de koloniale basiliek die veranderd was in een koeienstal.

Suppose Obama wants to go back to his roots and Poetin is the beautiful sleeper, who then is going to kiss the sleeper awake? I hope you just realised that I introduced a fairytale. A fairy tale, a tale, a story quite fair, true, honest, straight, almost a fact, a good fact.
Suppose Angela, Mrs. Angeleyes, gets fed up phoning, flying and lying to Vladimir. What is she going to do next? Will she shoot him, like in the film the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. At a certain point in the film Angel got shot and dies. Everybody is relieved then, relaxed, calmed down, cool. Well, you know I am trying to do history here, so I am countering off course.  In 21 st century, now, it seems that everything is countering anyway. The male / female roles are exchanged. So, in my story Merkel is the bad guy. Obama is the ugly, he talks too much, but says nothing in the meanwhile. Some people do that all their professional or personal lives, I won't be specific now. Maybe later. But our Raspoetin, he means it so good. He was born very poor, he worked his way up to the top, misleaded by all the coins, juwelery and diamonds hanging in front of him, like a sausuge, a carrot or a hamburger. He is trying to teach out. Suppose hecduesn't understand the gender switch which takes place now, because nobody in his social context, he, the man of Russia, talked with him about that. Suppose the Russian are the most conservative people in the world. Do you have any ideas how to wake him up, gently. Following the fairy tale there is this very handssome, beautiful man, needed. I think there are plenty of such men in Europe. The gay parade Amsterdam has just ended. Did any of this happy celebrating men came up with the idea of kissing Vladimir? Embracing him, welcoming him in the real world? Of course, no I didn't forget. The seven dwarfs. What about them? Do you not
remember the fairy tale? The seven dwarfs are the back up. IT persons must understand this at last, or
the military. Always take care for the back up! Don't forget! Oh! But who are taking care for the mental back up? Don't you know? Historians off course. They are our memory, our harddisk, not one or another floppy, stick or cloud drifting over...


So, if everybody still can follow the making, doing, thinking ( what is the difference) of worldhistory. One question: Can you name seven Russian historians, or/and seven German historians, or/and seven American historians? I think on the stage of the world today it takes 21 dwarfs to secure the contemporary world peace,. Oops, sorry, did I write dwarfs? I mean historians, bien sur.

Question two: Who are the 21 historians who are going to make sure the people of the world can remain living in peace? There is only one lesson we really can learn from history, that is, that making war, going to war, making wapens so one can threat with war, giving young men a job as a military
person, is the stupiest thing one can do.

I say no more.


One thing though. No, I can hardly believe it myself. What if Hillary is going to be the futurous knight to kiss the beautiful prince awake? No, that is very hard to believe. Too good to be true. Than history would not be revisited, history would be made. Remember Jeanne d'Arc? French revolution? Mm. Then, maybe there are 21 French historians necessary to give Hillary a back up. O, o , wicked thoughts. No, that never is going to happen , Bill will become so jealous, all these French kisses and you know or don't what jealous men are capable of... On top of that, Hillary and Bill are democrats, aren't they? And Vladimir only really does business with Replubicans. Mission impossible for Hillary. But who is that woman in South -America, who just recently received and kissed the
contemporary pope? Is there hope? Is she married? Hope so, otherwise theorie of Poetin could be trouble. Where us all this group thinking good for? People feel safe in a group, like most animals, according to the nanny of Luke ( my seven year old), who happens to be a group person and a University graduated biologist, RUG, the city of Groningen.

Shall I go there? I am not really a group person. I never feel safe in a group. And, the oldest sister of my mother worked years and years at the Dutch Embassy in Moscow, right after worldwar II. She was really an iron lady, also the oldest child of grandfather Gerrit ( the one who could look you in the eye and fear nothing). It could be easy for me, as a former architect. I just smile nicely to Rem or the former partner architect of Mecanoo, what is his name again? I followed a masterclass where he was one of the teachers at the TU Delft in the 1980s,  a workshop I organised myself with two other design students. Or shall I call a former 'liefje' in Rotterdam, KCAP exit, for some information? Reading all this Nietzsche, the Gay science and his wicked thoughts, is it any good for me? O dear o dear, European heritage. But, who are the Dutch diploma's in Moscow? Did they do history? Could they become my new peergroup for making worldhistory? Maybe I have to recruit six young top guns, freshly graduated from studying history in Paris, looking for a job and a mission. Do you know a person like that?

PhDprocess Law , buildings, water and land in Europe

On the other side of planet Earth, aboriginal people sing and dream and write poetry on law. In the meanwhile the same people are adaptieve to once introduced British laws. (More on previous blog)

If I counter the poem of the Aboriginal dreamtime, it looks almost like facts in Europe.

Law. Europeans make law. It comes from short time ago. From the last time. It does always change. Always different. Our culture changes all the time. Our law changes all the time. Only people cannot change. They born, they die. But law changes. Nobody in peticular is responsible for law. For culture.

Er waren ooit democratische bijeenkomsten van stammen (op het huidige Eurasia continent, MAS)
In de vijfde en vierde eeuw voor Christus werd in de stad Athene de eerste volksmacht gevormd. Er zijn gegevens dat er op een gegeven moment 30.000 burgers de gelijkwaardige dragers van de macht waren. Eenmaal per jaar waren er stemmingen, werd er gestemd.
Dat burgers rechtspreken is sindsdien een wezenlijk kenmerk van democratie.
Op IJsland en in Oostenrijk gebeurt dit nog steeds. Jaarlijks bijeenkomen om te stemmen. Op IJsland
heet dit 'the Thing'. Luxemburg en Nederland noemen zich democratie, maar laten geen leken toe in de rechtspraak.(Aha, vandaar De foto van Dijsselbloem en Juncker, onlangs in de krant, beide
zichtbaar emotioneel. Dijselbloem kust Juncker op de wang. Doet me denken/ herinneren aan 'De Kus', van voormalige Russische president met tattoo op zijn hoofd en Oostblok politicus, eind jaren tachtig, 1980s, val van de Berlijnse muur, Gorbatsjov en Honecker). Het Amerikaanse Huis van Afgevaardigden werd ingevoerd om democratie te voorkomen. De smid en boer (!) moesten het niet voor het zeggen krijgen.

De wortels van de eigentijdse democratie liggen in de zelfbesturende steden van de middeleeuwen. Statenvergaderingen onderhandelden met de vorst over belastingen. De vorst en de standen vormden een gemenebest. De vorst moest het gemenebest dienen, anders verloor hij zijn zijn recht. 1581. Acte van Verlatinghe ten aanzien van Filips II.

The most impressive travels I made on planet Earth were to the other side of 'my'  world, the continent of Australia. Once I spent 5 weeks, the second time I even wandered around for 7 weeks. 1998, 2005.  The east coast, the outback, the west coast, Brisbane, didgeridoo.

And sure, I visited some bookstores in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide. Well, its becoming late this saturday, let's keep it by a poem, an original poem, an aboriginal poem
